Our Story
Paras Flour Mill has its roots in Gujarat, India, where the values of hard work, trust, and quality have been passed down through generations.
Established in 1960 by our Grand Father Narayandas Parmanand Khushalani, the company began as a small venture with a big vision: to provide high-quality flour products that nourish families with every meal.
After 19 years of dedicated effort, Udharam Narayandas Khushalani took the initiative to expand the family business. In 1979, Paras Flour Mill expanded into a 200 sq. ft. facility, a significant step forward for the business. This milestone marked the beginning of an era of growth and transformation. With dedication and hard work, the company installed its first 2 semi-automatic flour mills in 1990, enhancing its production capabilities and paving the way for a more efficient future.
By 1998, Paras Flour Mill had outgrown its earlier setup and established a modern plant in the Sardar Estate area, covering 5000 sq. ft. Under the leadership of Mahesh Bhai Khushalani, who now oversees all export work and management of Paras, this expansion allowed the company to scale its operations while maintaining the same dedication to quality that had earned the trust of its customers.
By 2014, Jayesh Bhai Khushalani took charge of domestic wholesale marketing, playing a key role in driving innovation and maintaining the company’s legacy of quality and trust, further strengthening its position in the market.

Under the leadership of Hitesh Bhai Khushalani, who manages retail operations, this expansion allowed the company to scale its operations while maintaining the same dedication to quality that had earned the trust of its customers.
By 2014, Jitu Bhai Khushalani had become an integral part of the team, managing retail and finance banking, and ensuring the company continued to uphold its commitment to quality, trust, and operational excellence.
In 2019, Paras Flour Mill made a bold move by opening a cutting-edge facility in the Kotambi area. Spanning 1.5 lakh sq. ft., this plant increased the company’s daily production capacity to 120 tons, further cementing its reputation as a leader in the food processing industry. This achievement reflected the company’s commitment to innovation and its ability to adapt to a rapidly changing market.
Not stopping there, Paras Flour Mill reached another remarkable milestone in 2024 by establishing a new plant with a daily production capacity of 300 tons. This state-of-the-art facility demonstrated the company’s determination to continuously improve and meet the growing needs of its customers. .
Paras Flour Mill, under its flagship brand Vanshidhar, has become a trusted household name, synonymous with high-quality products catering to the diverse needs of families and businesses. The company’s commitment to excellence extends beyond flour milling, encompassing supermarkets, exports, and food processing. Building on their retail and export successes, they established their first supermarket in Baroda, focusing on producing essential commodities like peanuts, chillies, turmeric, coriander, cumin, and more. This expansion has solidified Paras Flour Mill’s position as a comprehensive provider of quality products, meeting the evolving needs of its customers.
